Aurora House Charity Golf Tournament
This charity golf tournament will benefit terminally-ill hospice patients served by Aurora House in Weslaco, as well as help raise funds for scholarships for local students.
The Rotary Club of Weslaco & Knapp Medical Center Charity Golf Tournament will be held at the Tierra Santa Golf Club in Weslaco, kicking off with registration and breakfast at 7 a.m. on May 13, with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
The 3-person scramble event will also include complimentary beverages, lunch, and raffles / door prizes. A 2017 Mercedes Benz is being offered as a hole-in-one prize (courtesy of Cardenas Metroplex).
The beneficiary of the golf tournament, Aurora House, is a licensed special-care facility which provides a residence with compassionate end-of-life care at no cost to patients. Located at 2646 W. 18th Street in Weslaco, Aurora House is a unique place in the Mid-Valley that provides comfort, love, and support for residents with a life expectancy of less than three months.

Registration is now open for 3-person teams for the charity tournament, for a donation of $500 per team, which includes green fees, cart, range balls, mulligans, breakfast, lunch and beverages.
