Edinburg to Host Joint Regional Hurricane Preparedness Conference

Edinburg, TX—With hurricane season quickly approaching, the City of Edinburg, in conjunction with Hidalgo County and the cities of McAllen, Mission, Pharr, and Weslaco, will host a Joint Regional Hurricane Preparedness Press Conference on Friday, May 31, at 10 a.m. at Edinburg City Hall.
This multi-jurisdictional collaboration will provide residents with crucial information about their cities' disaster response plans, past experiences, and available resources before and after a hurricane strikes. The press conference will be carried live on Facebook and Spectrum Channel 1300.
